PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : NFC : Favre, White Questionable
After a week of closed practices, Green Bay Coach Mike Holmgren wouldn’t say Friday whether quarterback Brett Favre or defensive end Reggie White will play Sunday against Chicago.
Holmgren said Favre ran a handful of plays Friday, testing his left ankle for the first time since severely spraining it last week at Minnesota.
White, who sprained his right knee against the Vikings, also did some limited work during drills.
“If they play, neither will be at 100%,” Holmgren said.
Holmgren wouldn’t commit to a starter if Favre can’t go, but it would be either T.J. Rubley or Bob Gagliano, who was signed Tuesday.

Steve Wallace’s shoulder remains sore and it appears increasingly likely the San Francisco 49ers will have to shuffle their offensive line for Sunday’s game at Dallas.
Kirk Scrafford would move from left guard to fill Wallace’s left tackle spot. Jesse Sapolu slides over from center to left guard and Bart Oates returns to center, a job he lost two weeks ago when the 49ers decided Scrafford was playing too well to remain on the bench.
