Pacoima : Service Providers to Coordinate Efforts
Calling all Pacoima service providers: the Pacoima Coordinating Council’s executive board will hold a pre-holiday “coffee break” conference on Thursday at the Northeast Valley Multipurpose Senior Center.
“It will be a round-table type discussion with all the agencies and groups providing services to Pacoima residents,” said Carol McClure, third vice president of the coordinating council.
“The idea is to find out how we can inject some enthusiasm into our community and get people to take more advantage of the services that are available,” McClure said, adding that the meeting caps the council’s annual membership drive.
Directors of nonprofit agencies, community group leaders, government agency officials and residents are invited.
Copies of the recently published Pacoima Coordinating Council Community Resource Directory will be distributed and a light brunch will be served.
The meeting begins at 11 a.m. at the senior center, 11300 Glenoaks Blvd. in Pacoima.
