Ex-San Diego Bank Officials Indicted: Two former officers of the failed Great American Bank have been indicted on federal fraud and bribery charges of receiving more than $375,000 from two real estate developers. Indicted are Dianne Lowe, 46, a former senior vice president, and her husband, James Lowe, 59, a former loan officer. The two allegedly received cash, vacation trips, gifts and special home buying opportunities in exchange for approving loans that later defaulted. The two developers have already been convicted. Great American was based in San Diego.
