THOUSAND OAKS : 6 Fire Stations Seek Donations for Needy

Six Thousand Oaks fire stations will be accepting food and cash donations for the needy from today until Dec. 22.

All donations will be given to the Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank program, a local, nonprofit food pantry. Cash gifts will be used to purchase items such as eggs, margarine, ground beef and canned foods.

Food donations must be non-perishable and purchased from a grocery store.

Personal care items, such as soap and toothpaste, will also be accepted. No liquor or medicine will be accepted.

The fire stations receiving donations include: Station 30 at 325 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks; Station 31 at 151 Duesenberg Drive, Westlake; Station 32 at 830 S. Reino Road, Newbury Park; Station 33 at 25 Lake Sherwood Drive, Thousand Oaks; Station 34 at 555 Avenida de los Arboles, Thousand Oaks, and Station 35 at 2500 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.
