San Gabriel Valley : RAPIST’S RELEASE

Share

A Pasadena women’s group is asking the governor to reveal the time and location of serial rapist Reginald Muldrew’s scheduled release from prison, women’s activists said Thursday.

Muldrew, a convicted multiple sex offender who authorities believe can be linked to more than 200 rapes, is scheduled to be released from prison Monday. The Women’s Coalition had planned to hold a vigil outside Vacaville State Prison, where he was being held, but those plans may be thwarted because Muldrew may be moved to an undisclosed location before he is set free, said coalition President Susan Carpenter McMillan.

Authorities would not confirm whether Muldrew will be moved from Vacaville, but said they will not make public the time or location of Muldrew’s release.
