LA PALMA : Holiday Contests Seek Best Home Decorations

Two holiday decoration contests are being sponsored by the city’s Cultural & Beautification Committee.
For homes, awards will go to the best decorations in each of these categories: homemade, purchased, creative, animated, daytime, nighttime and the most eye-catching street, plus a grand prize for most spectacular display overall.
For businesses, awards will go to the best in each of these categories: painted windows, window display, lobby display and commercial indoor display.
Applications, available at City Hall, 7821 Walker St., must be returned by 5:30 p.m. Friday. Judging will be Dec. 11, 12 and 13.
