Choirs to Offer Santa Ana Concert

The musical “A Time for Christmas” will be presented by the combined Chancel Choirs of the First Baptist Churches of Santa Ana and Anaheim and Coastline Community Chorale at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of Santa Ana. Congregation Shir Ha-Ma’alot will offer Camp Chanukah, a winter break Jewish arts program, with sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 18 through 22. Market shoppers will “buy” livestock, tree seedlings, medicine, food, water pumps and sewing machines. They will then receive a Christmas card that they can send to friends or family, while the while purchase of the market items is arranged through organizations that help the needy.
