Reach Out and Help Community’s Schools
* Thank you for drawing attention to the support Monlux Elementary School has received from the surrounding community (“Showing Monlux That Somebody Cares,” Nov. 19). It is indeed heartening to witness the outpouring of support following recent acts of vandalism at the school.
I hope other school communities will follow the lead set by Monlux’s neighbors. Local residents need not wait for an act of vandalism to reach out. I encourage concerned citizens to stop by their local school and ask the principal, “How can I help?”
