Panorama City : Calls Prompt MTA to Maintain Bus Service
Responding to calls from Panorama City residents, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority has modified plans to maintain bus service on portions of Chase Street and Van Nuys Boulevard from MTA Line 167 that were scheduled to be discontinued Sunday.
Line 169 will run on Chase Street between Woodman Avenue and Van Nuys Boulevard and the segment on Van Nuys Boulevard between Chase and Saticoy streets on weekdays only as of this week.
The bus line, which travels west-east on Saticoy Street from Woodlake Avenue in West Hills, has been rerouted to operate north on Van Nuys Boulevard, east on Chase Street, south on Woodman Avenue and then return to Saticoy Street, ending on Foothill Boulevard and Mt. Gleason Avenue, MTA officials said.
