OAK GROVE, Ky. —
A soldier rammed a speeding vehicle into a crowd of people fighting outside a convenience store early Thursday, killing two and injuring at least three more, authorities said.
Police said the sport-utility vehicle was traveling about 50 mph when it hit the crowd in the parking lot at Max Fuel Express. Army Spc. 4 Damon Catlett, 20, was charged with two counts of murder. He had sped away from the scene and was later stopped by military police at the gate to Ft. Campbell, a detective said.
