SANTA ANA — Two teenagers were wounded Friday during a gang-related drive-by shooting as they were walking with a group of friends near a church, police said.
Jaime Pineda, 16, and Roberto Ordaz, 17, both of Santa Ana, were walking with two others along the 600 block of North Lacey Street near St. Joseph’s Church about 5:15 p.m. when a car pulled up next to them and someone fired at the group. Both teens were hit in the lower body and were taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana.
Police did not immediately have a description of the vehicle and the number of people in the car.
