Service Set for Stuntwoman Killed in Accident

A funeral Mass is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today at St. Mel’s Church in Woodland Hills for Janet Peters Wilder, the 29-year-old stuntwoman killed in a freak boating accident this week during filming near Naples, Fla.

Private services were held Friday for the Woodland Hills resident, who died Tuesday near the end of location filming for “Gone Fishin’, “ a comedy for Disney’s Hollywood Pictures. Her husband, stuntman G. Scott Wilder, 33, and his father, Scott Wilder, 62, were injured.

She is also survived by her parents, Edward and Sara Peters of Costa Rica, a brother and a sister.
