Valleywide : Permits Sought for Antenna, Liquor Sales

Three zoning hearings dealing with a proposed cellular phone antenna and two requests to sell liquor will be held within the next few weeks in Sherman Oaks and downtown Los Angeles.

Zoning officials will consider granting conditional use permits for the following:

* A 62-foot-high cellular phone antenna at a shopping center at 22807 1/2 Saticoy St. in West Hills. The hearing will be held at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 5 at the Sherman Oaks Woman’s Club, 4808 Kester Ave.

* Permission to serve alcoholic beverages at a restaurant at 18134 Sherman Way in Reseda. The Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct the hearing at 10 a.m. Jan. 9 at 201 N. Figueroa St., Room 170, in downtown Los Angeles.

* A proposal to sell alcoholic beverages for on- and off-site consumption at a convenience store and lunch counter at 13753 Van Nuys Blvd. in Pacoima. The appeals board will conduct the hearing at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 9 in downtown Los Angeles.
