Center Evacuated After Bomb Threat
A Ventura County Sheriff’s Department bomb squad found a potentially explosive device at a Sav-On Drugs in Thousand Oaks on Thursday night.
The store had received a bomb threat at 5:50 p.m.
The small shopping center at 1382 N. Moorpark Road near Janss Road was evacuated while deputies searched for the device, authorities said.
By late evening, the bomb squad had not determined who was responsible or whether the device, made of road flares, was explosive. No injuries were reported.
