Cabrillo Music Theater is holding open auditions for “Damn Yankees,” a musical about a middle-age baseball fan willing to barter with the devil for a shot at playing in the major leagues.

The show is scheduled for a seven-performance run at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza from March 29 through April 7. All roles, from leads to chorus members and off-stage singers, are available.

Trying to gather talent from throughout Southern California, Cabrillo is holding an audition Jan. 20 in Burbank and local auditions Jan. 21 and 22 at the company’s Newbury Park rehearsal hall.
