Bloodmobiles will be at all three Southland Hard Rock Cafes (the Beverly Center, Newport Beach and Universal CityWalk) from noon to 5 p.m. today as part of “Rock ‘n’ Roll Up Your Sleeve,” a community event aimed at attracting first-time blood donors. First aid and emergency preparedness training will also be offered at all three locations. . . . Cable’s VH1 has canceled “4 on the Floor,” the round-table show hosted by former Rolling Stone reviews editor Anthony DeCurtis and featuring three other music journalists and a guest in weekly music-oriented discussions. DeCurtis will continue with the channel, developing other news and feature programming. The final episode will air in late March. . . . Majel Barrett, widow of “Star Trek” creator Gene Roddenberry, lends a hand to a rival science-fiction franchise when she guest stars as a prophet with mystical powers on the syndicated series “Babylon 5.” The episode airs Feb. 29 on the UPN network. . . . Boxer Tommy Morrison, who made headlines this week when he confirmed that he had tested positive for HIV, gives his first prime-time newsmagazine interview to Maria Shriver on Tuesday’s “Dateline NBC.” . . . Blues legend B.B. King will hold a discussion on America Online today at 5 p.m. The chat will be on the Computer Life rotunda (keyword: LIFE).
