State park rangers found the car of a missing Colorado woman at Point Mugu State Park, but the woman herself eluded them.

Ramona Sollers, 39, who is believed to be mentally ill, has been missing since March, Ranger Simon Cavazos said.

“She told her family she wanted to get rid of all her property and travel to California,” Cavazos said.

Authorities suspect that Sollers is depressed and delusional. She has several aliases, including Saria Cash Daniels and Cash Presley, and possibly believes that she is married to Elvis Presley, Cavazos said.

Rangers found her maroon 1994 Chevrolet Camaro with Colorado license plate H1Y3921 on Sunday. The car was found unlocked and unattended at the Thornhill Broome Beach campground, Cavazos said.

Authorities ran a check on the license and discovered that Sollers was reported missing. The car was impounded by the Sheriff’s Department, Cavazos said. A sheriff’s helicopter search for Sollers over the weekend turned up nothing, authorities said.

Sollers has made contact with police and park rangers in the past and has been temporarily hospitalized for observation, Cavazos said. She has occasionally called her adult daughter and son in Colorado and asked them for help, he said.

Sollers is described as 5-foot-4, 110 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact the California Park Service at 488-5223 or the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department at 654-2311.
