Alleged Drug Dealer, Customers Arrested
Oxnard police arrested a suspected drug dealer and three alleged customers Thursday, officials said.
Investigators said they watched a large number of people go in and out of an apartment in the 100 block of Grand Avenue for several days. Investigators obtained a search warrant and arrested the apartment’s occupant, Hector Ponce Castillero, 21, after they found two grams of heroin, nearly three grams of cocaine and 11 grams of marijuana. Police also seized a chrome-plated .38 semiautomatic pistol, electronic scales, $700 in cash and two pagers.
Castillero was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale. He remained in Ventura County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Three men who came to the apartment while police were there were also arrested for being under the influence of drugs.
