Zoning Officials to Hold Public Hearings
City zoning officials will hold public hearings on a number of applications for city permits Monday, including a proposed expansion of a private school in a Granada Hills agricultural zone and a proposed cellular telephone antenna in Lake View Terrace.
The applications include requests for:
* A conditional-use permit for the Hillcrest Christian Church and School, at Rinaldi Street and Shoshone Avenue, to add five modular buildings and increase its enrollment by 300 students to 800. The church is located in an agricultural zone. The hearing will begin at 1 p.m.
* A conditional-use permit to build a 45-foot-high cellular telephone antenna on Foothill Boulevard west of Clybourn Avenue in Lake View Terrace. The hearing will begin at 2:30 p.m. The hearings will be held at the Sherman Oaks Woman’s Club, 4808 Kester Ave., Sherman Oaks.
