Car Kills Pedestrian on Brookhurst Street
A 39-year-old man who was crossing Brookhurst Street late Thursday was struck and killed by a motorist, police said.
Albert M. Valencia of Anaheim was wearing dark clothing and crossing in the middle of the poorly lit 200 block of South Brookhurst Street, police said. A 63-year-old Anaheim man driving a blue 1993 Pontiac Grand Am told police he was traveling about 35 mph when he struck Valencia. No one has been cited in connection with the accident.
Police are asking anyone with information on the accident to call Investigator Vince Delgado at (714) 254-1835.
