The band’s fourth album sees the coed quartet transformed from shoegazers into the English Go-Go’s. Lyrically, Miki Berenyi casts herself in a variety of arresting female roles, while the music carries enough ‘90s muscle and echoes of ‘60s Anglo-pop to slot alongside Blur and Pulp--whose Jarvis Cocker duets on the song “Ciao!”
