Burke and Maggert Share Bay Hill Lead
Patrick Burke and Jeff Maggert shared the lead after the second round of the PGA’s Bay Hill Invitational at Orlando, Fla., on Friday.
Burke shot a six-under-par 66, while Maggert closed with four consecutive birdies in shooting a 65. That left them at seven-under 137 and gave them a one-stroke lead over Mike Hulbert and Glen Day.

Patty Sheehan birdied six of the last 10 holes to complete a six-under-par round of 66 in the LPGA’s Ping-Welch’s Championship at Tucson, Ariz.
Sheehan’s seven-under-par total of 137 left her tied with Michelle McGann, who shot a 68. Danielle Ammaccapane was one stroke behind at 138.

At Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Spain’s Miguel Angel Jimenez shot a four-under 68 and increased his lead to four shots after the second round of the Dubai Desert Classic.
Jiminez had seven birdies for a 36-hole total of 13-under 131.
Jay Townsend of the United States and Colin Montgomerie of Scotland were tied for second at 135.
