Camarillo Security Firm Joins First Alert Network

Digital Security and Electronic Inc., an alarm and security equipment dealer in Camarillo, has joined the First Alert Professional Security Systems Organization.

Digital handles residential, commercial and industrial accounts throughout Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties. Currently, about 75% of the company’s business involves residential accounts.

“Our areas of expertise are large custom homes and large commercial and industrial users,” said Digital President John R. Becker. “We are expanding our residential customer base with the addition of First Alert products.”

Digital, which has been in business since 1977, incorporated in 1983. It currently employs 16 people.

First Alert is a nationwide network of about 250 alarm and security-equipment dealers.
