Obituaries : Jeffery R. Wehrheim; Musician and Engineer

Jeffery R. Wehrheim, a self-employed musician and recording engineer, died Thursday. He was 23.

Born in Chicago, he moved to Ventura five years ago. Wehrheim died as a result of a motorcycle accident on the Ventura Freeway. Authorities said he lost control of his motorcycle for unknown reasons Wednesday, just north of Rose Avenue in Oxnard.

Wehrheim is survived by his mother, Dorie Adamczyk of Algonquin, Ill., his father, Robert Wehrheim of Hanover Park, Ill., and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home in Ventura. Friends are invited to visit from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Additional services will also be held March 27 at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home in Palatine, Ill. Burial will follow nearby at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
