Westlake Village : Teen-Adult Relations Focus of Conference
A nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the region’s quality of life will host the 12th annual Youth Congress today in Westlake Village.
The event, sponsored by the Conejo / Las Virgenes Future Foundation, will run from 8 a.m. to noon in the Conejo Room of the State Farm Insurance regional office, 31303 Agoura Road.
About 125 students from area high schools, as well as 30 adults, are expected to participate, said Ty Cordova, publicity director for the foundation. Discussion will focus on ways students can improve relations with parents, educators and other adults. The event will include a forum with speakers such as Corbett Phibbs of Parenting Plus in Thousand Oaks.
