SAN DIEGO--Southwestern and Native American culture fill the courtyard of Bazaar del Mundo during the eighth annual Santa Fe Market, March 29-31. CALICO--This silver mining ghost town is the setting for the Pitchin’, Cookin’ and Spittin’ Hullabaloo, March 29-31. All-day activities take place throughout the town, off Interstate 15 just north of Barstow. SAN CLEMENTE--The San Clemente Arts and Crafts Show and Farmers’ Market will be in the Easter spirit on March 31. Easter goodies are on hand, in addition to a variety of handmade wares and fresh produce. The fair is 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; the farmers market is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. In the 100 and 200 blocks of Avenida Del Mar. SANTA BARBARA--Poppies, monkey flowers and other native blooms are the centerpiece at the Wildflower Festival and Spring Plant and Book Sale, April 13 at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (The sale begins at 9.) SAN LUIS OBISPO--Another celebration of nature awaits at the fifth annual Garden Festival, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 13-14. At the event, the Friends of the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden will unveil plans for a permanent botanical garden. Other highlights include demonstrations, food, kids’ activities and music.
