Due to an editing error, a story in Wednesday’s editions of The Times incorrectly said that Adib Hassan Arrazzaq, a 61-year-old gardener shot by robbers as he was mowing a lawn in South-Central Los Angeles, had died. In fact, Arrazzaq was in stable condition Wednesday at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Officials said his condition had improved from critical a day earlier.

In South-Central, Adib Hassan Arrazzaq was fatally shot by two juveniles while mowing a lawn on Ruth Ellen Street near 87th Street, police said. A reward of $10,000 is offered for the killers. Contact Det. Dan Nee or Det. William Wimbley at (213) 485-4175.
