Gray Skies Yield Just a Sprinkle
Call it the last sprinkle of winter or the first spritz of spring. Wednesday night’s light rain didn’t add much to rainfall levels in Ventura County.
Most coastal areas received less than one-tenth of an inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service. Mountain areas didn’t get much more. The Lake Casitas area got the most precipitation, with a scant 0.08 inches.
And don’t hold your breath for much more, either.
“After March, rainfalls of any significance are rare,” said a National Weather Service spokesman.
At least the garden begonias got watered one last time.
