Posse Case Shows Lack of Caring for Teens

Share

Re your article about the Spur Posse, “An American Tragedy” (March 22): This article shows that some people don’t care about teenagers.

Lakewood High School’s staff proves my point. When Gina Day was tormented day after day by Spur Posse members and complained to teaches and principals to try to get help, none of them listened.

So when is 21-year-old Kris Belman going to start supporting the two kids he created during his sexual conquests?

An American tragedy? Give me a break. The families involved with members of the Spur Posse appear to qualify as trash. There are real tragedies of innocent people much more deserving of ink than these people.

The mother of two of the boys involved tries to place much of the blame on society, but she at least was willing to admit to poor parenting with much overindulgence and little or no discipline.
