An aspiring actor who did anti-crime videos for the Police Department and was once a reserve deputy for the Sheriff’s Department was charged Tuesday with two more murders.

Ramon Rogers, 36, already charged in the dismemberment murder of one former girlfriend, was charged Tuesday with the dismemberment murder of another and with the murder of a rival in a love triangle.

Rogers, who had small roles in movies, television and community theater, had been charged with the murder of Beatrice Toronczak, 32, with whom he has a 6-year-old son. Her teeth and fingers were found in a storage locker outside his apartment, police said.

In jail without bail, Rogers was charged Tuesday with the dismemberment murder of Rose Albano, 31, in 1994, and the disappearance of Ron Stadt, 29, in 1993. Rogers, a Navy veteran, martial arts expert and heavy-metal drummer, had been questioned about both cases at the time but no charges were filed.

But San Diego homicide Lt. Glenn Breitenstein said that working with the Sheriff’s Department, investigators found new informa tion that allowed Rogers to be charged with the additional counts.

For six months a few years ago, Rogers was a reserve sheriff’s deputy who worked as a scuba diver searching for evidence in murder cases and other crimes.
