* James C. Minyard was promoted to president of Electronic Products Group, a wing of Haskel International Inc.

Minyard replaces Maury Friedman, who will now be a consultant to the company.

Haskel International, based in Burbank, is a manufacturer of high-pressure liquid pumps used in the electronics industry.

* Jeannie Sabedra has joined Camarillo Community Bank as vice president and commercial loan officer. Before the move, Sabedra was vice president in business banking at First Interstate.

Camarillo Community Bank has offices in Camarillo, Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks.

* Attorneys Andrew S. Hughes, Madison M. Christian and Kurt E. Kananen have become partners with the law firm of England, Whitfield, Schroeder & Tredway.

Hughes specializes in business litigation and real estate and general business law. Christian specializes in civil trial practice with an emphasis on construction defect, employment, commercial and real estate cases. Kananen specializes in civil litigation, real estate and insurance law and homeowner association disputes.

* Lou Carpiac has been elected managing partner of the Ventura law firm of Ferguson, Case, Orr, Paterson & Cunningham. Carpiac has 20 years of legal experience, mostly with Ferguson, Case and its predecessor firms.

In addition to his duties as managing partner, Carpiac will continue his general civil practice with emphasis in business, real estate, environmental and employment litigation.
