Mail Stolen in La Palma, Stanton
Two men broke into a U.S. Postal Service truck Monday morning and stole all the mail, the second such incident of the day in Orange County, police said.
The truck was parked in the 4600 block of Sharon Drive about 11:30 a.m. when someone broke in and stole the mail, police said. The letter carrier was making deliveries on foot at the time.
Witnesses saw a dark, 1970s Camaro with two or more males inside it leaving the area.
The U.S. Postal Inspector reported a mail theft in Stanton earlier in the day involving a similar vehicle, police said.
