Dallas Shuts Out Kansas City, 3-0

Former U.S. national team player John Kerr Jr. scored one goal and assisted on another Thursday night as the Dallas Burn defeated the Kansas City Wiz, 3-0, in a Major League Soccer game before 8,541 in the Cotton Bowl.

Jason Kreis opened the scoring in the 48th minute off assists from Kerr and Ted Eck. Washington Rodriguez made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute, and Kerr scored the third in the 85th, assisted by defender Brandon Pollard.

Dallas improved to 2-0, and Kansas City fell to 1-1.
