Free Activities Mark Start of Arts Festival
The annual Cypress Celebrates the Arts festival opens Friday with free events from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Cypress East Shopping Center, at Valley View and Ball streets.
Nancy Bruns, a spokeswoman for the Cypress Recreation and Park District, said activities will include a sidewalk artist demonstration, art displays at several stores and entertainment.
