Alicia Appleman-Jurman, whose autobiography, “Alicia, My Story,” was translated into a dozen languages, will speak at 10 a.m. Sunday at Temple Beth El of South Orange County. The book is a fulfillment of an oath she took on her brother’s grave that if she survived the Holocaust, she would speak for her silenced family.
