Santiago 3, Bolsa Grande 2--Jackie Godinez went three-for-three with a run scored for host Santiago.

In the Century League:

Foothill 4, Orange 0--Jenny Clark had three hits and an RBI and Jenny Beltran hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh for top-ranked Foothill (22-2, 6-0). Marie Gieron pitched a two-hitter.

In the Sunset League:

Huntington Beach 5, Esperanza 3--Bryn Kreipl had two hits and scored a run in a victory for third-ranked Huntington Beach (17-7, 5-1).

In Sea View League golf:

Santa Margarita 189, Newport Harbor 192--Medalist Justin Shapiro of Newport Harbor shot one-under 34 on the Mesa Linda course at Costa Mesa. Bill Collopy and Shapiro each had eagles at No. 5, and Shapiro also had two birdies. Nate Blauer shot 36 for Santa Margarita (16-1, 9-1).

In the South Coast League:

Dana Hills 182, Capistrano Valley 214--Freshman Robin Shelton shot two-under 33 and Will Smith shot one-over 36 at Marbella for Dana Hills (8-6, 7-2).

In nonleague golf:

Valencia 190, Canyon 213, Sunny Hills 218--Valencia scored the lowest score in the school’s history, beating a 192 set in 1992. Valencia was led by Eric Lama, who shot a par 37 on the 3,400-yard Alta Vista course. Eric Moulden of Canyon finished with the lowest overall score with a one-under par.

In Sea View League girls’ swimming:

Santa Margarita 86.5, Newport Harbor 83.5--Siobhan Herlihy won the 200 individual medley (2:21.74) and the 100 freestyle (58.47) for Santa Margarita.

In Golden West League boys’ tennis:

Saddleback 10, Tustin 8--John Tran and Raul Amezcua won their final doubles set to clinch the victory and Vu Le swept in singles for Saddleback (13-5, 8-2).
