For the early birds, there’s Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (TBS, Sunday at 7:35 a.m.), the comedy-fantasy about four kids who are accidentally reduced to an inch in height and must survive the dangers of their backyard. For the family.

The Disney Channel premieres the 1994 live-action rendition of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book (Sunday at 7 p.m.). Mowgli, who is raised by wolves in the jungle, returns to civilization as a young adult. He meets a young Englishwoman who helps him, but he earns the resentment of a British army captain. For the family.

A triangle of a different sort is at the heart of Dad, the Angel and Me (Family Channel, Sunday at 7 p m.). In this rebroadcast of the cable channel’s 1995 movie, a bachelor dad (Judge Reinhold) attempts to build a relationship with his young daughter (Stephi Lineburg) after her mother dies in a car accident. An angel (Carol Kane) is given the duty to watch over the girl. For the family.

Katie and Orbie offer help to youngsters who are having first-time experiences such as loosing a tooth or taking a trip on a bus (KOCE, Monday at 8:30 a.m.). Its premiere is narrated by actor Leslie Nielsen and is centered around 5-year-old Katie and her friend Orbie, a space alien who likes to sleep hanging upside-down from the clothes rod in Katie’s closet. For ages 5 and up.
