Youth Arrested After Search of Homes
One teenager was arrested Wednesday after Ventura County sheriff’s deputies and Ventura County probation officers searched eight residences in Moorpark for evidence of probation-related violations.
The teen, whose name was not released, was arrested on drug-related charges.
Several items linked to recent crimes in Moorpark--including cocaine, marijuana and gang-related paraphernalia--were found in the 7 a.m. search, authorities said.
An investigation is continuing to determine whether other arrests will be made.
