First Pomona Officer Slain on Duty Is Buried
The first Pomona police officer to be killed in the line of duty was buried Friday afternoon at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in West Covina after services at the First Baptist Church in Pomona, Forest Lawn officials said.
Daniel Fraembs, 37, was found shot to death, lying by his patrol car Sunday in a desolate industrial park. He was wearing a bulletproof vest at the time.
Police arrested two men in connection with the shooting, but no one has been charged, officials said.
