7 Suspected Gang Members Arrested
Oxnard and Port Hueneme police arrested two men and five juveniles during a gang sweep in the two cities Friday.
Police searched 16 residences at about 6 a.m. and arrested the seven suspected gang members for possession of stolen property and violation of probation.
The arrested adults were Pedro Molina and Charles Valdez, both 18 and from Oxnard.
The sweep is part of a police effort to crack down on escalating gang violence in Oxnard and Port Hueneme, police said.
