Seattle Mariner reliever Tim Davis will be out for two months because of a fractured left leg, discovered Sunday night after he went to a hospital for X-rays following Seattle’s 4-3 victory over the New York Yankees. Davis, 0-2 with a 4.66 ERA in 20 games, sustained the broken shin bone May 15 when hit by a Paul O’Neill line drive at Yankee Stadium. . . . San Francisco Giant outfielder Glenallen Hill will be out 10 to 12 weeks because of a broken bone in his left wrist suffered in Sunday’s 10-1 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. Hill was hurt while trying to make a diving catch. Hill was placed on the 15-day disabled list and outfielder Dan Peltier was recalled from triple-A Phoenix.
