Reward Set in Theft of School’s Camera
Authorities have announced a reward for information leading to the arrest of a thief who stole a video camera from Newbury Park High School.
Between April 18 and 22, bandits made off with two video cameras, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said. Once the theft was discovered, school officials told students that if the cameras were returned, no questions would be asked. One camera was returned but the second is still missing, according to the Ventura County Crime Stoppers.
The missing camera is a Zenith VM 7000 with an AC power pack and battery.
Tipsters are urged to call 494-8255 and may remain anonymous.
