Oxnard Police Officer Is Struck With Pipe
An Oxnard police officer was struck with a pipe late Monday after he stopped a car in the city’s La Colonia neighborhood, a Police Department spokesman said.
Police said that one of the occupants of the car whacked the officer in the knees with a pipe, and the officer, who was not identified, was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
Police were looking for suspects, the spokesman said. Authorities did not elaborate on the officer’s condition.
