Schools / Education news : Corona del Mar High Alumni Sought
The Corona del Mar High School Foundation is hoping to track down all of its alumni, dating to the first graduating class in 1964, so that it can compile a book that will give details of what everybody is doing now.
A company hired by the foundation will conduct research through the summer, and the books should be on sale by year’s end, said Kimberly Rothwell, spokeswoman for the foundation.
Rothwell said part of the motivation for seeking Corona del Mar alumni is to solicit donations to the foundation. She said she hopes people will also be interested in contacting old friends and perhaps in eventually forming an alumni association for the Newport Beach school.
