Graduations Held for 2 Senior Classes
More than 300 students graduated under sunny skies Friday evening from Newbury Park High School.
Two valedictorians addressed their classmates, recalling past memories while looking to the future.
More than 90% of the class is college-bound, said counselor Rich Intlekofer. Half of those plan to attend four-year colleges.
At the other end of the county, more than 200 students in the Santa Paula High Class of 1996 accepted their diplomas from school board members during commencement exercises as relatives and friends proudly watched.
