Driver Is Killed When His Car Hits a Wall in Cypress
A 62-year-old Long Beach man was killed Friday when his car hit a block wall and he was thrown from the vehicle, police said.
Paul Horowitz was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash after officers, bystanders and paramedics had tried to revive him, police said.
Horowitz’s car hit a block wall on the southeast corner of Ball Road and Delano Lane about 7:30 a.m.
Officers found Horowitz pinned under the vehicle’s frame. With the help of bystanders, they were able to free his body from underneath the wreckage.
