Vet to Discuss Helping Animals in a Disaster
Veterinarian Patty Boge will discuss the care of animals injured or displaced in a disaster at a program at 3:30 p.m. July 9.
At the free public session, Boge will explain a program in place in the South Bay area in which a number of veterinary clinics have committed to provide care at no charge to pet owners in the event of a disaster.
The program, hosted by Fountain Valley’s Disaster Preparedness Advisory Committee, will be at City Council Chambers, City Hall, 10200 Slater Ave.
