U.S. Tourists Injured in Canadian Bus Crash
A tour bus filled with American tourists slammed into a car near this Canadian city Tuesday, killing at least two and injuring several others, police said.
The Canadian Press reported that 25 people, mostly elderly tourists from New Jersey, were injured.
Ontario Provincial Police could not confirm the number of injured but said at least five were taken to a hospital.
The car was passing a tractor-trailer when it lost control and hit the oncoming bus. Two people in the car died at the scene, about 18 miles east of Kingston in eastern Ontario.
