TV Comedy Course at UCLA Extension
Television veteran Jim Shasky, a five-time Emmy Award winner, will teach “Directing the Laughter: Making Comedy Work on Prime-Time Network Television,” a six-part course offered by UCLA Extension that begins Monday.
Among the scheduled guest speakers are television directors James Burrows (“Friends”), Jay Sandrich (“The Cosby Show”), Lee Shallat (“Murphy Brown”) and Tom Cherones (“Seinfeld”).
The class will meet on Mondays, July 1-Aug. 5, from 7-10 p.m. The fee for the course is $295.
