Council to Select Interim City Manager
The City Council will meet in a special closed session today to select an interim city manager.
The position will become vacant in three weeks when current City Manager Stephen B. Julian retires. Julian has served as city manager since August 1993.
The city will accept applications for the position until Monday. City officials estimate a permanent city manager will be hired by mid-September.
